With a Jedi costume, children can feel a part of the fantastic legacy of the Jedi knights. As is said in A New Hope, the Jedi were the guardians of peace and justice in the galaxy for many a year before the rise of the Empire. As seen in such expanded universe fiction as the Knights of the Old Republic, the Jedi were a powerful force in the galaxy.
